Monica Crinion Selected for ASCE’s Young Civil Engineer of the Year Award
Monica Crinion has been selected by the Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to receive the Young Civil Engineer of the Year Award.
Monica joined WBK Engineering in 2014 and works with the structural department on projects performing project management and structural design. She has 8 years of experience in transportation engineering including Phase I, II and III services on State, Municipal, County and Illinois Tollway projects. “We are proud that ASCE recognized what we at already know - that Monica is a credit to the profession of engineer and an example of the spirit of giving back to her community that we all strive for”, says John Wills, President of WBK.
“I’m honored to receive this award and so proud to represent WBK while accepting it. So many of you have supported my efforts in ASCE and at the same time pushed me to be a better engineer. I truly believe this was a group win”, commented Ms. Crinion.
