Civil Engineer III-IV

WBK is seeking an experienced and responsive Civil Engineer, committed to personal service and professional growth, who will support our transportation engineering practice. Our Civil Engineer III-IV will perform a variety of duties, mainly in the office, with some field responsibilities. Experience working with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a must. Experience working with varying transportation design software is a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform civil engineering design related to transportation, water resources and utility design services for Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Tollway and Local Agency projects
  • Project work planning, project management and leadership
  • Technical and Project Report Writing
  • Documentation of Design computations

​Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in of Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • Minimum of six years, with a preferred range of seven to twelve years of relevant transportation design experience
  • State of Illinois Professional Engineering License
