Featured Projects

BIA – BIE School Evaluations

WBK Engineering, LLC (WBK) subcontracted to sister company, Seven Generations Architecture & Engineering, for a project
with The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) / Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Department of
Facilities and Construction Management (DFMC). The DFMC hired the AE team to perform comprehensive evaluations at
18 BIA/BIE campuses in six states throughout the Southwest District and in South Dakota (part of the Great Plains District). The AE team evaluated site infrastructure, buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, and environmental concerns.

GSA Hart-Dole Courtyard

Under a General Services Administration (GSA) IDIQ contract for Michigan, WBK, 7GAE, and Alliance performed site evaluation and concept level design for a new outdoor
recreational facility at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. WBK completed survey of the existing courtyard, coordination of Phase I ESA & soils investigations, and prepared a summary report describing existing conditions of the proposed 1/4 recreational space.

Fort Polk

WBK led the Civil Engineering and site design effort of a multi-disciplined team facilitating Design Build scope documents and contracts for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at Fort Polk, La. The
project scope included renovation of seventeen TEMF buildings and the adjacent site facilities with a total estimated construction cost of $111,000,000.

V.A. Saginaw

The Department of Veterans Affairs retained WBK Engineering as part of the Alliance Consulting Group & Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering (7GAE) Joint Venture design team to provide planning, civil engineering, and architectural design
services to plan for an expansion of an existing medical center.
