The Kane County Division of Transportation (KDOT) has named WBK Engineering the 2015 Phase I / II Consultant of the Year.  This award was based in part on the successful implementation of the Walker Road over Burlington Creek and Jericho Road over Blackberry Creek Bridge Replacement projects, as well as getting the Allen Road over Hampshire Creek Bridge Replacement project to construction.

WBK recognizes Andy Underwager (Phase I Lead) and Brent Pottorff (Phase II Lead) on this special accomplishment.  These projects truly exhibit a team effort from the standpoint that nearly all of WBK service areas were critical to the successful completion of the projects.   These projects required survey, hydraulic design, resource management, permitting, structural design and highway design.

2015 is KDOT’s inaugural year for these awards and WBK is truly honored to have been selected for this recognition.  Celebrating eighteen years of service in northern Illinois, the staff members of WBK are recognized experts in the areas of municipal engineering, stormwater management, wetland and environmental resources, plan review, transportation and structural engineering, survey, planning, design and permitting.
